Product Research Physicist

Position Overview:
We are looking for a highly motivated and capable Product Research Physicist. you will join the Product Research team and be responsible for conceiving, planning, and executing experiments on quantum error correction (QEC) and research possible architectures to push the envelope of what is possible in the world of quantum control hardware. The work involves combination of theory and modeling and working in an experimental setting to conceive and execute POCs, solutions and product requirements at scale and in a production environment.
Roles and responsibilities:
· Conceives POCs and research activity for future technologies and collaboration with academia and external stakeholders, including NVIDIA and the Israeli quantum computing center (IQCC).
· In charge of conceiving, implementing and analyzing QEC protocols based on QM’s control products.
· In charge of devising product requirements and design guidelines for QM’s scalable QEC solution
Minimum qualifications:
· University BSc in EE/physics with high GPA
· MSc/PhD in physics
· Contributed to writing and releasing production level code in a team setting
· Experience in quantum information theory/experiments
Preferred qualifications:
· PhD in physics in a quantum related domain
· Experience with simulation tools and modelling
· Managed production level code projects in a customer facing environment
· Experience with superconducting or spin qubits
